Subjektiv durchs Objektiv - Subjective Look Through Objective Lense

Nach langer Vorbereitung ist es heute Abend um 18 Uhr so weit. Die erste Ausstellung der Fotogruppe momentART des ARThauses Altheim eröffnet ihre Ausstellung "Subjektiv durchs Objektiv - der besondere Blick auf Altheim". Als momentARTlerin treffe ich gerade die letzten Vorbereitungen für heute Abend. Natürlich bin ich etwas aufgeregt und gespannt, wie es wohl werden wird. Wie die Besucher reagieren werden. ..

Jetzt am Donnerstag haben wir die 45 Bilder von insgesamt 8 Hobby-Fotografinnen und -Fotografen aufgehängt. Und ich muss sagen, unser fotografisches Engagement hat sich gelohnt. Es ist uns gelungen, eine ansprechende Ausstellung zusammenzustellen - mit ganz unterschiedlichen Bildern.

Mit dieser Ausstellung wollen wir gerade auch die Menschen vor Ort ansprechen. Kunst ganz hautnah sozusagen - ein nicht alltäglicher Blick auf die Umgebung, in der unser Alltag stattfindet. Und so ist die Ausstellung als Einladung zu verstehen, im Alltag einmal eine neue Perspektive einzunehmen. - Beim Fotografieren stelle ich immer wieder fest, wie  eine leichte Veränderung des Standorts eine totale Veränderung des Bilds bewirken kann. Auf diese Weise kann ich als Fotografin in vorsichtiger Annäherung das Bild so gestalten, wie ich es gerne möchte. - Und vielleicht ist es einen Versuch wert, diese Methode auf unser ganz normales Leben anzuwenden. Wer weiß?

After a long period of preparation, this evening at 6 pm there will be the opening of the first exhibition of the group momentART at the ARThaus in Altheim: Subjective Look Through Objective Lense – A Very Specific View of Altheim. As a member of this group I am about making the final preparations for this evening. Of course, I am somehow excited and curious how everything will be going. How our visitiors will react.

This Thursday we hung up the pictures taken by eight amateur photographers. And I must say, bringing in so much photographic dedication in our project was worth the effort. We succeeded in compling an attractive exhibition of quite different pictures. 

With this exhibition we want to address above all local people – encountering art as a first hand experience so to say: a look out of the ordinary at our environment where our ordinary life takes place. Thus the exhibition can be considered as an invitation to gain a new perspective in regard to our ordinary life. – When taking pictures, I’m observing again and again how a minor change of my position can change the look and feel of the complete picture. These minor changes allow me to create the picture I want  by carefully approaching towards the right position. – And how about trying to apply this method on our ordinary life? This could make sense.
